Liverpool City Region Hospitality and Leisure Support Grant

Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and the six City Region Local Authorities, are launching the Liverpool City Region Hospitality and Leisure Support Grant in response to restrictions impacting hospitality and leisure businesses in the region.

This fund offers grants to help leisure and hospitality businesses retain staff and meet operational costs during this difficult period of trading.

It is designed to complement other government funds such as the Job Support Scheme and the Local Restrictions Support Grant.

Who can apply?

These grants are for businesses in the leisure and hospitality industry that have been significantly affected by Covid-19 restrictions. They will support leisure and hospitality businesses that continue to trade or have been forced to close due to the government’s ‘very high’ tier-three restrictions.

How much will I get?

The amount awarded will be calculated according to the number of full-time equivalent people you employ and the rateable value of the commercial premises you occupy.

Grants will be paid on a phased basis. Evidence that the business is still trading, employing the relevant number of staff and is able to receive the grant as per State Aid rules will be required for ongoing payments to be made.

How to apply

Applications for this Liverpool City Region fund will be managed via a centralised portal.
