Supporting the sensor industry across the Liverpool City Region.
Sensor City is a collaboration between the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership and is a flagship University Enterprise Zone. We enable industry and academic partners in a range of sectors to translate their innovative sensor concepts into commercially viable solutions.
Sensor City will bring together the knowledge and experience in sensor technology to become a leading innovation centre and an exciting opportunity for both universities and SME businesses to work together and share knowledge in this cutting-edge sector.
What support is available?
Sensor City presents an exciting opportunity for universities, SME businesses, larger established sensor tech businesses as well as graduate entrepreneurs who need access to expertise and support, in areas such as:
- Access to funding
- Business development support
- Accelerator programmes
- Mentoring and networking opportunities
- Access to co-working space and high-end facilities
Sensor City facilitates connectivity and fosters progress, helping partners to capitalise on the growing sensor revolution. We aim to make Liverpool a world-recognised centre for sensor technologies.
