Livv Housing Group has opened applications for its Livv in Your Community grant scheme, inviting local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across Knowsley to apply for funding to deliver projects and activities that tackle social isolation, improve connectivity and support financial wellbeing.
Grants ranging from £1,000 to £6,000 are available, depending on the scope and scale of the project or activity. A total of £72,000 is available and Livv aims to support at least 12 organisations through the scheme.
Funded activities must take place over a minimum of four months between 15 October 2025 until 31 March 2026. Priority will be given to initiatives that operate in neighbourhoods where Livv has the most homes, including Prescot, Whiston, Huyton, Kirkby and Halewood.
Examples of eligible projects include (but are not limited to):
- Lone parent wellbeing sessions for parents and play activities for children
- Weekly sports groups for young people who aren’t currently engaged with services or activities within their community
- Regular drop-in mornings providing hot breakfasts and a range of stakeholders offering information, advice and guidance
- Regular lunch clubs providing group activities such as sports or crafts
- Minibus hires to support people with limited mobility in accessing activities within their local community
Tom Wilde, Director of Community Investment & Engagement at Livv Housing Group, said: “We’re really pleased to bring back our Livv in Your Community grant scheme for another year. Our communities are home to dedicated local organisations working tirelessly to support our customers and those who need it most. This funding gives them the opportunity to go even further – so we encourage groups from across the borough to apply and see if we can help. We hope our support will make a meaningful difference to our communities over the longer, colder months.”
Applications for the Livv in Your Community grant scheme close on 5 October 2025.
