The BBSRC-STFC Biotechnology Business Incubation Centre (BioBIC) is an incubator programme for early-stage biotechnology start-ups based at Sci-Tech Daresbury in the Liverpool City Region.
You must:
- be a UK-registered company under five years old that is majority-owned by founders and employees
- have received previous support from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) or a UKRI partner organisation
BioBIC provides:
- £50,000 of research and development (R&D) funding
- £10,000 innovation voucher for R&D activity
- technical, commercial and intellectual property support
