The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority are looking for organisations of all sizes and from all Business Sectors to join them on their journey to make the Liverpool City Region the fairest most equitable place in the country to work or run a business in, by becoming part of the Fair Employment Charter.
There are 3 levels to the Fair Employment Charter; Aspiring, Accredited and Ambassador level, we are currently only inviting applications for the Aspiring Level of the Charter with a view to Organisations further engaging with the Charter process and developing and demonstrating a commitment to good and fair workplaces and work practices through the Accredited and Ambassador Levels.
The Charter is free to all Organisations and is anchored in 4 Key Pillars of good work, which include workplaces that are Fair, Healthy, Inclusive and Just with employers able to demonstrate how their approach and actions meet each of these areas.
By becoming part of the Fair Employment Charter your Organisation will send a strong message that
- Fair work is not just good for employees, it also supports better business through increased productivity,
- It could improve the recruitment and retention within your Organisation.
- The Charter will ensure greater health and wellbeing inside and outside of the workplace.
- Engaging with the Charter can also help Organisations to demonstrate key social value actions and commitments which may be part of considerations for Organisations looking to work with the Combined Authority and other businesses.

We regret that we cannot accept any applications to become part of the Fair Employment Charter without Supporting Information for each of the 4 Pillars of the Charter.
