Hugh Baird College is excited to announce the launch of its Early Years / Childcare Apprenticeships at Level 2 and Level 3, aimed at employers looking to train and develop their workforce in the childcare sector.
The Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship, accredited by NCFE, is designed for individuals who are just beginning their journey in childcare or are working in a beginner position. This program provides the foundational skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the childcare sector, offering apprentices a comprehensive understanding of child development, safety, and care.
For those looking to advance their careers and step into a senior role within the sector, the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship, also accredited by NCFE, offers a more in-depth exploration of childcare. This program delves into advanced aspects of child development, leadership within childcare settings, and the implementation of childcare policies and procedures.
As part of its Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship, Hugh Baird College is offering a free Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid to all apprentices. This training will ensure apprentices are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to provide first aid to children in an emergency.
