Léann Hearne, CEO at Livv Housing Group, said: “Social value is a measurement of the benefits that our services and programmes bring to our customers and their communities and we’re proud to have generated over £65 million worth of impact.

“Over the past year the fallout from the cost-of-living crisis continues to put pressure on people, families and communities. We’ve listened to the concerns of our customers and shaped our services to make sure they’re relevant and reflective of their needs.

“Alongside the statistics, it’s the many stories that really bring our impact to life. It’s heartwarming to hear from our customers about how we’ve made such a difference to their lives and supported them through the toughest times – that’s what Livv is all about.

“To build on our social impact, we recently launched our new three-year Corporate Plan which will give us the strategic framework to continue to support people and communities in the right way.”

Livv’s cost of living support programme involved working together with Citizens Advice Knowsley to provide energy advice and savings. Through this project, 962 customers were supported with practical advice and guidance, warmth packs, home energy assessments and LED lightbulbs.

Other initiatives that ran included Future Skills, a range of sector-specific courses to help people into work; The Christmas Small Grants Scheme, to support the voluntary sector with food-based elements of their community activities; and health and wellbeing programmes designed specifically for young people, such as Knowsley Young Minds and Nobody Left Behind.
