Civic Health Innovation Labs,
Liverpool Science Park, 131 Mount Pleasant
L3 5TF (see map)

Free

The University of Liverpool are hosting a free event on the development, adoption and implementation of data, AI, technology in and for health. Civic AI and HealthTech will bring together researchers and industry stakeholders, with the aim of developing collaborative projects based on challenges identified by industry and healthcare professionals. You can read more about the format of the event and how it works here.

The University are inviting private, public and third sector stakeholders working in fields that intersect with technology, AI, data, healthcare and society to register for the event and submit questions that frame challanges relating to the development, adoption and implementation of civic AI, digital health data and health technologies, for example:

  • How can the reliability and accuracy of health technologies be ensured across diverse clinical settings?
  • What measures can be taken to ensure that new health technologies do not introduce new risks to patient safety?
  • What strategies can be implemented to minimise bias in AI models used for civic purposes?
  • How can we facilitate the effective use of civic AI among public sector employees and the general public?

The deadline for submissions and registration for industry is 16 July. Please note, this event is focused on developing collaborations, therefore only those who submit questions will be invited to take part.
