A straightforward guide for entrepreneurs setting up a new business in the UK or reviewing their current business legal structure.

If you are living in the Liverpool City Region and thinking of setting up a business in the UK or are already trading and not sure if your chosen structure is the right one for you going forward, then come along to this free* workshop for a straightforward guide to the options available and how to make sense of it all. (*see eligibility criteria)

The workshop will be delivered by Tom Strodtbeck: Tom, as part of LJMU’s Student Futures, works with the Startup Hub team to support the creation, development and growth of student and graduate enterprises. Prior to joining LJMU, Tom was a partner in the international consultancy Global Growth Hub, a Startup and enterprise consultancy based in Liverpool, London and Dubai.

You will need to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK and fill in a registration form. Examples of evidence you could provide include:

  • Passport
  • National Insurance number card or letter from HMRC
  • Birth or adoption certificate
