Join The University of Liverpool Management School for the first in-person Centre for Sustainable Business Summer Conference, and discover the potential of a ‘purpose-led’ approach to tackle the climate emergency and social justice issues.

This one-day interactive conference brings together the latest research evidence from the Centre for Sustainable Business (CSB), with practical experience from business leaders on the potential of a ‘purpose-led’ organisation model for addressing sustainability challenges successfully and realistically.

The conference is designed around action and the sharing of expertise, to inspire practical takeaways for businesses aspire to become a force for good in protecting our planet and its people.

If you are a business or sustainability leader, non-executive director, or you are engaged in developing purpose-led business approaches, you will find this event particularly useful.

The conference will not only give you the opportunity to network with academic experts and business leaders, you can also receive practical advice from our themed Business Clinics on the potential for implementing a purpose-led approach in your organisation.

The conference will be hosted by the Centre’s Director, Professor Jo Meehan, followed by several keynotes by research experts and business leaders from organisations, such as John Lewis Partnership and Balfour Beatty Vinci, who will offer different perspectives on the ‘purpose-led’ approach to sustainability.

After the expert talks, you will have opportunity to attend our themes Business Clinics and roundtable discussions, led by the CSB’ Advisory Board representatives. During this time, you can also join the screening of a climate change documentary.
