As part of a commitment to support businesses in the LiverpooL City Region to navigate their international trade journey, Liverpool Chamber are pleased to launch a series of free virtual sessions in partnership with a selected group of UK Chambers across the country.

The purpose of these sessions is to provide general insights into exporting, importing, customs as well as keep traders with the latest changes in regulations and provide tips on how to grow globally.

About the Session

In 2022, Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) hit an all-time high of USD$211bn, a 17% increase from 2021. Overseas Development Assistance is defined as grants, loans and funding provided by official agencies, local governments, development banks and similar to promote the economic development and welfare of developing countries. From individuals to SMES and large businesses across all sectors, there are a wide range of commercial opportunities which British companies could be capitalising more.

This 45-minute bite sized webinar session will explore commercial opportunities brought by aid funded projects.

The session will cover:

  • What is Aid funded business opportunities?
  • Who are the main players?
  • What kind of opportunities are there for British companies to get involved
  • Overview on the project cycles
  • How to get involved & available support
  • Showcasing digital platform to help you get involve on Aid Funded Opportunities

There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the webinar.

Who can attend?

This sessions is aimed at exporters and importers, and members and non-members are welcome to attend.

Registration and Costs

The Chambers Trade Academy Sessions are free of charge and open to members and non-members based in the Liverpool City region, however, registration is required. Only registered delegates will be able to join the session. Zoom links will be shared closer to the event’s date.
