This event, hosted by the Department for International Trade alongside Halton Chamber of Commerce and Liverpool Freeport, will discuss the advantages for companies seeking to expand and utilise the Freeport for customs and tax benefits.
Liverpool, as the country’s leading transatlantic port, is a natural Freeport location. It handles 45% of trade from the US and is the UK’s biggest western facing port.
The LCR Freeport spans 45km diameter, from the western point Wirral Waters to the eastern point of Port Salford, is multi-model and offers a range of economic incentives within Customs and Tax sites.
The Freeport will be shaped to support the delivery of City Region’s vision outlined in the Local Industrial Strategy and Economic Recovery Plan: for a globally competitive, environmentally responsible, and socially inclusive City Region.Register here
