Start-Up Support: A Legal Checklist

Central Library,
William Brown Street, Liverpool
L3 8EW (see map)

Free

Starting your own business can be quite a daunting experience, particularly when it comes to making sure you are legally above board. This workshop will give you some basic pointers on what legal requirements you might need to consider before you register your business.

This is not a legal advice session, but a gentle heads-up to give you the information and confidence you need to make the right informed choices for your start-up journey.

This session is delivered through the Business Support Service at Liverpool City Council which provides fully-funded start-up support to Liverpool residents looking to create a new business and to early-stage businesses based in Liverpool. This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority.

Please note this session is only for Liverpool residents looking to start a business, or early-stage businesses based in Liverpool who have been trading for under 12 months. We reserve the right to cancel tickets for those not in these groups and those not based in the Liverpool local authority area. Confirmation of your place on this session will be provided as soon as possible after you register by a member of the team.
