Start-Up Support: How can you think “green” from the start?

Peter Jost Enterprise Centre,
Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool
L3 3AF (see map)

There can be lots to think about when you are starting a new business and it’s never too early to think “green”!

We’ll hear from speakers including the experts at LJMU’s Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory about how to ensure your business decisions make a positive impact on the environment and what start-up businesses can do when embarking on a net zero journey – small changes can make a big difference! Plus we’ll look at how net zero practices can have benefits for a smaller business, in addition to helping the environment.

The session will close with lunch and networking.

This session is delivered through the Business Support Service at Liverpool City Council which provides fully-funded start-up support to Liverpool residents looking to create a new business and to early-stage businesses based in Liverpool. This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority.

Please note this session is only for Liverpool residents looking to start a business, or early-stage businesses based in Liverpool who have been trading for under 12 months. We reserve the right to cancel tickets for those not in these groups and those not based in the Liverpool local authority area. Confirmation of your place on this session will be provided as soon as possible after you register by a member of the team.
