Are you a local resident with a powerful business idea that addresses a health or care challenge in your community? Liverpool City Council’s Business Support Service are delighted to invite you to an information session with Citizen First LCR to hear about their new start-up support programme which is open to applications now!
They are offering eight inspiring local people a full-time salary, seed funding and comprehensive support to make their business idea a reality. The application process is straightforward with just a few simple questions and no CV required. The application deadline is 4th May – so do join us for this information session to find out more and ask any questions that you have.
Speakers will include James Green who is the Founder and CEO of Public Life. You’ll also be able to hear from Liverpool City Council about the additional free advice available to help start/grow your business through our Business Support Service.
Citizen First LCR is part of the Liverpool City Region Life Sciences Innovation Zone Programme, bringing Public Life’s Citizen Incubator model to Liverpool for the first time. The initiative is supported by the University of Liverpool’s LCR Innovation Zone-funded project, the Civic Health Tech Innovation Zone (CHI-Zone), and a collaboration of local and national funders.
This session is delivered by the Business & Economic Support Team at Liverpool City Council, through their Business Support Service which provides fully-funded support to Liverpool residents looking to create a new business and to existing businesses based in Liverpool. This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority.
