Case Study: Future Electrics

Bootle-based electrical contractor Future Electrics has experienced a period of sustained growth following support from Sefton’s growth hub, Invest Sefton. When an opportunity for business expansion arose in June 2016, company director Lynne Grimmant contacted the Invest Sefton for assistance in managing the additional workload.

Working with a Growth Hub adviser, Lynne identified that financial investment was required to bring in additional resources. Support followed from Invest Sefton in finding a suitable finance option and successfully negotiating the application process. Working with Invest Sefton has helped the business to double its workforce and win a major contract outside of the Merseyside area.

Invest Sefton is the enterprise, business support and inward investment service of Sefton Council, which leads on and supports business growth in Sefton. It aims to make Sefton an attractive and easy place for businesses to start, operate, grow and thrive, as well as to assist companies in finding suitable business premises within Sefton and support export and construction growth within companies.

Lynne Grimmant, Director of Future Electrics said, “Sefton Growth Hub has provided Future Electrics with invaluable advice and support, their wealth of knowledge coupled with their friendly and accessible service is second to none.”
