Hugh Baird College and University Centre in Bootle is hosting a one-day marketplace style event that will bring together up to 400 school and college students from across the Liverpool City Region with regional and national employers under one roof.
The event, titled ‘Level Up: Education to Industry’, takes place on Tuesday 22 March 2022 and is sponsored by Bootle based live events company MSP. It is part-funded by Shaping Futures – The Merseyside Collaboration Outreach Programme.
The event aims to inspire young people to consider careers in four industry sectors: Construction, Digital, Health and Port/Logistics.
The invited students will have the opportunity to participate in interactive activities, watch live demonstrations, listen to guest speakers and gain career advice for their next steps. They will also be able to find out about the new technical qualifications: T-levels and Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs).
Hugh Baird College is currently seeking employers/businesses who may be interested in having a presence at the event.
It is an ideal opportunity for employers in the Construction, Digital, Health and Port/Logistics sectors to represent their industry, showcase their opportunities, deliver their Corporate Social Responsibility policy, raise their organisation’s profile, and inspire local students – the workforce of the future.
To exhibit at the event is free and there is availability to have a stand size up to 4m x 4m, or larger upon request.
