The Sovini Group honours local veterans, in partnership with Everton in the Community

Veterans from local charities were invited to attend a remembrance event hosted by The Sovini Group and Everton in the Community (EITC).

The charity offers over 50 programmes covering a range of social issues including health, employability, anti-social behaviour and disability.

The event, which commemorated the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War, was hosted by local comedian Pauline Daniels and supported by Aaron & Partners LLP and Capsticks LLP.

Spoken word poet Joseph Roberts, shared a moving piece with guests from Veterans HQ, Veterans in Sefton and Tom Harrison House before a two-minute silence was honoured, remembering those impacted by the conflict.
