Professional Services marketing consultancy, Agnes, appoints Operations Director

Agnes Marketing, the business development and marketing consultancy for SME professional services businesses across Liverpool City Region, has appointed Anthea McKnight as Operations Director.

Anthea takes on the responsibility for optimising the efficiency and productivity of the business through operations. Her responsibilities including team processes, maintaining and developing business performance, optimising efficiences and productivity through technology developments, and continuously improving client success through performance analysis and reporting.

Lindsey Moore, Founder and Director of Agnes Marketing says, ‘I started Agnes in 2004 with one objective…to help my clients grow their businesses by winning the right type of clients. I knew I could do this by developing a bespoke strategy and plan for each client that targeted ‘low hanging’ opportunities in a very specific way in order to generate quick results at a price they could afford.

Running a busy professional services business is not easy. Business owners are responsible for all elements of the business. When it comes to marketing, many business leaders are taking responsibility for this alongside their main role. This makes it almost impossible to build consistent marketing momentum which results in peaks and troughs in new business.’

Lindsey continues, ‘As the cost of living crisis creates additional pressure for our SMEs, who are still reeling from the effects of the pandemic, it is more important to me than ever that Agnes is able to provide marketing support that’s effective and affordable to our local business community. This new role is a key strategic appointment for the business.

I am absolutely delighted to welcome Anthea to Agnes family. I have known Anthea for many years and seen first hand the positive impact she has on a business through her commerical, operational, and organisational skills. Anthea’s diligence and committment to delivering the best possible service to clients, perfectly compliment the Agnes team and ethos and we couldn’t be happier to have her on on board.’

Anthea previously worked at liquid agency for 14 years where she progressed from senior account management to the client services lead and then specialised as an Operations Director. Her development included managing key clients and marketing budgets, planning and strategy, project and production logistics, profitability and accountability.

Anthea says, ‘I am very excited about my new role at Agnes. Lindsey and I have worked closely together in previous roles so in many ways it feels like I’ve come home! It’s a fantastic opportunity and I can’t wait to get cracking.’

Anthea is the second appointment for Agnes Marketing in six months, following the appointment of Marketing Executive, Georgia Steel in September 2022, a graduate of Liverpool John Moore’s University.
