Head Chef Anthony scoops ‘Head Chef of the Year’ Award at The Liverpool Hospitality People Awards

Hugh Baird College’s L20 Hotel School is thrilled to announce that its Head Chef, Anthony Wright, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Head Chef of the Year’ award at The Liverpool Hospitality People Awards.

The event, held on 30 March 2023 at the Titanic Hotel Liverpool, celebrated the best and brightest talent in the Liverpool hospitality industry.

Anthony Wright has been the Head Chef at Hugh Baird College’s L20 Hotel School since 2018. Under his stewardship, the L20 Hotel School and Restaurant has become known for its innovative, modern cuisine that celebrates the best of locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Anthony’s passion for cooking and dedication to his craft has inspired not only his team but also the students who train at the College.

Anthony said:
“I am honoured and humbled to receive this award. I am proud to be a part of this incredible community and grateful for the opportunity to showcase our passion for food and hospitality.”

The Liverpool Hospitality People Awards are an annual event that celebrates the outstanding contributions of individuals and businesses in the Liverpool hospitality industry. The ‘Head Chef of the Year’ award recognises a head chef’s exceptional culinary skills, creativity, and leadership in Liverpool’s vibrant food scene.
