Associates of Cape Cod, Inc. (ACCI), a renowned global biotechnology company specialising in Bacterial Endotoxin and Glucan detection technologies, has chosen Academy Business Park in Kirkby as its new base of operations in the UK.
ACC has been a global leader in endotoxin & (1→3)-ß-D-glucan detection products and services for almost 50 years. Today, a ribbon cutting marked the official opening of their new 22,000sqft site – attended by local councillors, members from Invest Knowsley and the President & CEO from the global headquarters located in Massachusetts.
The new state- of-the-art facility includes; offices, contract testing laboratory and a purpose-built production area manufacturing test tubes and consumables for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. A modern warehouse will enable ACCI to supply products direct to UK customers and their global network of distributors.
