easyJet has today announced it will launch a new route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to City of Derry airport; not only a brand-new service from Liverpool but also a brand new destination on easyJet’s network.

The new flights are set to take off for the first time from 4 November 2024 and will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays all year-round.

The new route to the second largest city in Northern Ireland will be the fifth new service the airline has added to its Liverpool network in the last 12 months, following new flights being introduced to Malta, Enfida in Tunisia, Hurghada in Egypt and the Greek island of Corfu.

City of Derry airport, which lies on the west bank of the River Foyle is home of Ireland’s only completely intact historic Walled City, the Derry Girls, a vibrant food scene, award winning museums and plenty to discover where the Wild Atlantic Way meets the Causeway Coastal Route.
