‘Bringing learning to life’ helps HybridTec achieve ‘Good’ Ofsted report

National energy training provider, HybridTec, has announced it has achieved a ‘Good’ Ofsted report following its latest inspection.

All of HybridTec’s services including its adult learning programmes and apprenticeships achieved a rating of ‘Good’, as did the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, leadership and management, and personal development.

The report, which followed a visit in March, highlighted how learners and apprentices “enjoy their apprenticeship because they gain the substantial new knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to be successful in their specialist industries”. The inspector also noted how HybridTec’s “leaders and governors design ambitious, high-quality curriculums that respond to the skills shortage and meet the needs of learners, apprentices and employers… ensuring [they] develop the skills they need to work in the gas, electrical and renewable energy sector.”

Focusing on strategic growth, expansion and providing an outstanding service delivering accredited, industry-led apprenticeships, HybridTec, as leaders in energy training and the green agenda, has helped to raise standards across the sector due to its tutors being “highly qualified professionals with extensive industry experience”, as noted in its Ofsted report.

Proudly based in Liverpool, and operating across the UK, HybridTec provides an unrivalled one-stop shop for all sustainable training and certifications (City & Guilds, NICEIC, BPEC). In the last 3 years alone, HybridTec has welcomed 300 apprentices and over 1,000 experienced engineers, having also serviced over 3,000 businesses to date.

Sophie Gilmore, managing director at HybridTec, said:

“We are extremely proud of our Ofsted report and I would like to thank our team, governors and apprentices for their hard work and dedicated support. My team and I take great pride in all our services and care deeply about training apprentices of all ages – including those starting out in the industry or those looking to upskill. This Ofsted report is testament to the success of our work and we are eager to continue building on our strong commitment to helping our apprentices be successful in their future careers.”
