A New Era for Post Production in the North West

Liverpool City Region is fast emerging as one of the UK’s leading hubs for film, TV, and digital content creation. Backed by the expertise of the Liverpool Film Office and Liverpool’s Flexible Growth Fund, producers benefit from free, extensive services, including location scouting, permissions liaison, parking, traffic control, and access to a skilled local workforce.

Dragon Post Production’s new Liverpool facility is set to play a pivotal role in this growth, providing world-class post-production services that keep productions within the region from start to finish. With generous tax credits of up to 40% for independent film producers and 25% for larger productions, Liverpool is attracting high-profile projects while ensuring post-production budgets are reinvested locally, strengthening the industry and bolstering regional growth.

“It is fantastic to have Dragon Post Production open their latest office in Liverpool, which will sure bring inward investment to the region.  This will be their first base outside of Cardiff and is a welcome boost to Liverpool’s post-production offer, especially being based inside the newly re-purposed Hardman Studios, which we are excited to see develop into a thriving creative hub right in the heart of our city. Through working with Dragon Post Production and other local businesses, we’ll continue our work in exploring further opportunities for local people through employment, training and skills development.  We wish Dragon Post Production and the team at Hardman Studios all the very best for their future in our wonderful city.”
