Sharon Marsh, Chief Executive of Livv Housing Group, commented: “I’m proud to share our 2024/25 Social Accounts report, which highlights the meaningful and measurable difference we’re making in our customers’ lives.
“Through targeted services, advice programmes and strong community partnerships, our work supports financial wellbeing, employment, health and youth empowerment. Not only are we driving real change, but we’re also easing pressure on public services, where last year, we saved £12.6m to the public purse.
“Creating social impact also strengthens our organisation. It helps us build trust, improve services, and attract support, all while making a real difference in people’s lives and delivering real value for money.
“But behind every statistic is a story. These stories bring our social value to life and remind us why our work truly matters. We’re more than a housing provider; we’re a force for social good. And together, we’re building stronger, healthier and more connected communities.”
Livv’s impact was driven by a range of community-focused programmes. These include Cooking with Livv, a social isolation initiative using food to bring people together, in partnership with Alba Restaurant; Give Get Go, a wellbeing and mentoring programme ran by Transform Lives Company; and Future Skills in Construction, which helps customers gain qualifications to gain access to site work.
Livv also continued to champion young people’s mental health through its Knowsley Young Minds initiative with Evolving Mindset, and it played a key role in the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s Digital Inclusion Initiative, helping over 100 customers get online and stay connected.
Through its Livv and Flourish social investment fund, Livv supported local charities and social enterprise with £524,180 in loans and £80,000 in grants, further amplifying its community impact.
