Since their commercial launch in 2010, J2 Aircraft Dynamics have successfully grown in the field of aeronautical engineering.
As a small to medium sized company who develop aircraft design and technology software tools, they specialise in fixed and rotary wing modelling and have developed a unique software tool-kit that covers all aspects of flight physics, designed to help engineers worldwide develop their aircraft from concept to completion.
Paul Jenkins, Senior Vice President Commercial at J2 Aircraft Dynamics, explains: “When the pandemic understandably created severe travel restrictions, it made us focus on creating a stronger, clearer on-line presence. Growth Platform helped us with the procurement process to secure the funding help we needed through the New Markets 2 ERDF programme.
“From the received tenders we made the decision to go with Appetite Creative as they impressively grasped the main part of the task and engaged with us on some areas we felt showed their skill set off well.
“The new site went fully live in the summer of ’21 to a lot of fantastic feedback on the impact and quality of the web pages. We also know that people have found us through the search process on the back of the new website and we will continue to work the search criteria so that we improve our web rankings.
“We are also now blogging as well and combining the website presence with a significant push on LinkedIn. Our goal is to develop the website also into a resource centre for end user clients, hosting articles and guidance and on-line training videos for those clients we do business with.
“I believe the new site has created business leads for us and we are adding more information to the site on a regular basis. Appetite Creative delivered us a great site and we have since purchased additional services from them including copy editing, hosting service and page design ideas.”
J2 Aircraft Dynamics worked with the business support team at Growth Platform to identify their online needs and put together a procurement and tender process, deciding on what was important and what was not in the definition of requirements and looking at how best they could measure the various submissions against their own stated set of criteria for success.
